Book Haul// December🌲☕

Hello lovely wordpressers! Okay I know I had been MIA for over a year I guess? How are all of you? Also Happy New Year to everyonee.

Hope this year brings more creative blog posts, likes and comments to our posts. 😛 Jk. So back in December I shopped for quite a few books for Christmas which I’m going to share with ya’all! Let’s dive into it. So for Christmas, I got three books from Amazon India .

So I saw this book on instagram and wanted to get this for christmas since a very long time. This Vintage Classics edition gather’s together not only Dicken’s Christmas books( A Christmas Carol, The Chimes, The Battle Of Life, The Cricket on the Hearth and The Haunted Man) but also stories that Dickens wrote for the special seasonal editions of his periodicals All The Year Round and Household Words, and a festive tale from The Pickwick Papers.

Yes, I haven’t read Frankenstein Yet and I’m most excited about this one. This timeless gothic novel by Mary Shelley presents the epic battle between man and monster, and is a devastating exploration of the limits of human creativity.

3.

Next up, I got The Prince By Niccolo Machiavelli. I read about this in college(I’m a student of History, so yeah.) and since then I wanted to read this. Its about the art and craft of war and elaborates on the qualities of a prince and his prudence.

4.

Next up, I have these goodies and books that I got from The Big Book Box India which is a book subscription box. I would totally recommend getting their subscription boxes. They send out the most cute goodies and handpicked books. This was the Secret Santa Package wherein we just choose the package to our liking and the contents were a surprise. I absolutely love these books. I’m currently reading Roar by Cecelia Ahern and I’m loving it. It has thirty touching, often hilarious, stories with thirty different women. Each discovers her strength; each realized she holds the power to make a change. I will be doing a review on this book.

So that is all for my Book Haul for December. I hope you all liked some of the books and are inspired to get one of these. Or If you’re a frequent reader, do suggest me some good reads in the comments down below! Thankyou for stopping by, have a great day. 🌸🌸
